the story

Becoming Who I Was Meant to Be

I grew up in Southern California in a family where love, learning, and faith were intertwined. My mother’s steady devotion taught me what grace and grit look like in practice. My childhood was full of poetry, Disney dreams, choir songs, and deep conversations about how to live well and do right. There were also moments when protection didn’t come soon enough — and the resilience that followed shaped the way I see people and the world.

That mix of steadfastness and struggle became my compass. It led me to psychology, to ministry through care, and ultimately to my life’s work: helping people discover the freedom that comes from truth, tenderness, and transformation. I often say I didn’t choose this path—it chose me. From the moment I first felt called to help people heal, I’ve tried to follow that calling with honesty, courage, and heart.

Helping people see what’s possible—in theory, in practice, and in themselves.

Therapy, Supervision, and Training

Today, I work as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and educator—bridging the heart and the system, the personal and the institutional.

My approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, Location of Self (Dr. Thandiwe Dee Watts-Jones), and principled struggle (adrienne maree brown). I believe growth happens when we are met with honesty and warmth—when safety and accountability can coexist. Whether I’m in the therapy room, classroom, or training space, my goal is always the same: to create relationships that are brave, relational, and deeply human.

Who I’m Serving

  • As a therapist

I work primarily with adults—often parents, caregivers, and professionals—who are navigating identity, belonging, and emotional exhaustion. My clients describe me as kind, funny, thoughtful, and grounding—a stable place and person. I help people reconnect to their sense of worth and possibility, especially when life feels uncertain or heavy.

  • As a supervisor

I see supervision as sacred—a one-on-one space where developing clinicians get to become more of who they are. I integrate spiritual wisdom, cultural consciousness, and consent-based learning so supervisees can explore identity and justice at their own pace while being supported toward clinical excellence.

  • As a trainer and consultant

I love bringing complex ideas to life. I design and lead workshops that challenge systems while centering the people who work within them. My sessions are described as “the most applicable training series I’ve taken,” and I take pride in meeting each group where they are—translating theory into language that’s useful, actionable, and transformative.

the invitation

Brave, Supported, Clear

I believe therapy, supervision, and education are all acts of courage. They ask us to look closely at ourselves and still choose love.

My hope is that when people meet me—whether as clients, supervisees, or partners—they feel brave enough to try something new, supported enough to be honest, and clear enough to see the next right step.

I often hear reflections like:

“Something new clicked for me today.”
“I’m so hopeful for what we can build.”
“Dr. Page is incredible.”

Those moments mean the world to me. Because what I hope people experience with me isn’t perfection—it’s presence. It’s the sense that they are not alone, that something supportive and steady is here with them, and that transformation is still possible.
